The ecosystem in which a company works worth much more than the labor costs because it is a crucial factor for innovation and the sharing of knowledge. In Italy we must urge the development of ecosystems among all the companies.
The political solution to get out from this recession should not be austerity. It is impossible to overcome a crisis by inertia. It takes investments. The state must finance innovation in order to boost the economy.
We are used to thinking of the economic crisis in terms of quantity. Crisis as a lack of resources and liquidity. But we should start thinking about crisis in terms of quality. Money and resources aren’t scarce. The issue is how they are distributed.
The Sharing Economy turns any property into a potential profit and every person into a potential entrepreneur, taking The Principle of Infinite Accumulation of Marx to a new frontier where the accumulation no longer concerns only the object (be it a house or a car…) but also its capital value (the rent of the house and then the return on investment originated from it).
Crises are not something to eliminate or avoid but rather they are something to deal with, something to get value out of it. Actually, many of the breakthroughs that make our world a better place arose from these crises. While, paradoxically, many things that make our world a worse place today come from success stories.
